How are the length, drop, and rise of your weight distribution shanks measured?
All these measurements are taken with a weight distribution head mounted to the shank. The length is measured from the center of the pinhole to the center of the ball hole. The drop is measured with the shank in the downward position and the head at the lowest setting. The drop is then measured from the top of the shank to the base of the ball. The rise is measured with the shank in the upward position and the head at the highest setting. The rise is then measured from the top of the shank to the base of the ball.
