Trailer Wiring- Measure Twice, Drill Once

Anyone who’s ever owned a boat trailer has gone through the frustration that is trailer wiring. Personally I’ve endured this pain annually over the past 10 yrs on the family pontoon. The main issue that we run into is that when we launch and load the pontoon on the river the current causes the aluminum transom to collide with poorly positioned trailer lights. This causes the submersible trailer lights to crack which allow water to flood in and crack the bulb and corrode the fixtures. This year was going to be different, this year I decided to make a vow that I was never going to change lighting again.
